Tim Hattenburg: Spokane Valley Community Leader
Tim Hattenburg was elected to serve a four-year position on the Spokane Valley City Council as a result of the 2019 election. Hattenburg previously served ten years on the Spokane County Library Board of Trustees, with seven of those years as chair and vice-chair. Tim was the primary researcher for the first two volumes of the History of the Spokane Police Dept. He is a lifelong Spokane Valley native and graduated from Central Valley High School, Spokane Falls Community College, and WSU with a double major in education and history. Hattenburg has also completed two years of post-graduate study at Gonzaga, Whitworth and Eastern Washington Universities. He is a published author, and is married with three children and three grandchildren. He is honored to have been elected to serve as a Spokane Valley Council member. Tim loves to read, study history, spend time with family and friends, travel and go fishing when he can find the time. He is truly enjoying his time on the Spokane Valley City Council, helping to make our community a safe place where people want to live and do business.
